Comments: This film is cute - my wife and I got it cheap - so we picked it up. I'm not a big fan of Glenn Close, but she was quite bizarre in this movie. :)

Comments: The sequel to Analyze This is billed as "funnier than the first". I don't know if I'd go there, but if you enjoyed the first one, then you'd probably like this one. I'd recommend seeing the first before this one. This one seems more geared towards DeNiro - where the first one was more equal between DeNiro s not to say I didn't like the second one, but the uniqueness of the first one is gone, and I think that played a part in what made the first one great.

Comments: The better of the two "Earth is doomed" movies from a few years ago - it was much better than Deep Impact. Sure, the plotline is (no pun intended) way out there, but it was a big, loud, Hollywood special effects bonanza. Plus I liked most of the supporting cast from other things, so it's a great popcorn movie.

Comments: We got rid of this one because Samantha didn't like it. We still have about 6-7 other Baby Einstein DVD's. She likes the series, but not this one. We donated this to the nursery in our church.

Comments: Obviously, this was bought for my daughter. We started showing her Baby Einstein DVD's when she was just under a year old. As I write this, she's 19 months old, and has gotten bored with most of them. But when she was watching them - she liked this one.

Comments: This was the first Babylon 5 DVD release. It contains the original pilot episode (The Gathering) of the series, as well as one of the TV B5 movies (the best one, too). In the Beginning explains a lot of the backstory of the B5 universe, but if you haven't seen the entire series, stay away from "The Beginning" on this disc - it will screw up a lot of the future enjoyment of the regular series. You can watch The Gathering, it's the show's pilot.

Comments: A surprisingly touching movie about a robot that lives through a couple hundred years in service of a family. Robin Williams was brilliantly cast here, and you get to see both the comedian Williams and the great dramatic actor Williams in this movie at the same time.

Comments: I got rid of this when an updated version was included on the Casino Royale DVD.

Comments: I picked this up, because my wife and I spent a lot of time watching CNN around the Millennium watching various reports on New Year's Celebrations. Was nice to have the highlights in one location instead of on 6 or 7 videotapes. :)

Comments: David Gilmour is a wonderful musician and guitarist. As he's gotten on a bit, he's become more desirable of resting then touring, so when something new pops up from him, it should be checked out. If you're a fan of Pink Floyd's music beyond merely the popular songs and singles, you should check this out.

Comments: Quite simply the best 007 movie since Goldfinger. I was so totally blown away by the first 40 minutes or so of this movie that the rest of it could have been Pierce Brosnan standing around picking his nose, and I would have thought it was awesome. Seriously - by far the best Brosnan bond, and the best since Goldfinger (for real).

I got rid of this movie, as I replaced it with one of the Ultimate Edition DVD sets from late 2006.

Comments: A great movie about what happens when a guy agrees to be on TV all the time, and all the goofy things that happen in a scenario like that. Plays out very well, and seems a bit more realistic than the other movie that came out at the same time, Truman Show. Tough to talk about without giving away the story.

Comments: Escape From New York is a movie that I've loved for a long long time. Snake Plissken is one of the great movie characters that I think should have gotten more attention. It's not like this is Academy AWard winning stuff, but this movie has a great story, and I loved the very bleak futuristic feel to it. I always wished I could have gotten to see it in the theatres, though.

The only reason I got rid of this was because there's a new extended SE of the movie coming out around Xmas 2003. That's the only way I'd ever give up this movie, it's a total classic. :)

Comments: I wasn't sure how to describe this. Sci-Fi, cop, action, suspense, comedy movie.. It's got a bit of all that in it. It's a very stylish movie - it has a feel all to itself. I never saw this in the theatres, I get the feeling it would work better on a big screen. Don't get me wrong, I really like it, I just feel it would be enhanced by a big screen.

I got rid of this when a good two disc SE version came out in Jan of 2005.

Comments: The third of the three Costner baseball movies. This one is more love story driven than the others. However, the baseball portions of this movie are superb, even if there aren't enough of them. This movie is a love story that just happens to be happening to a baseball player - unlike Bull Durham which was a baseball movie with a love story thrown in.

Comments: The 1998 US Godzilla took a lot of heat, mostly because of the changing of Godzilla himself. However, for some reason, people took this movie too seriously, and didn't enjoy it. I took it for what it was. A goofy popcorn movie - I mean, isn't that what all the original Gojira movies were anyway? It's too bad more didn't like it, because the obvious sequels laid out at the end of the movie never got made.

Comments: The perfect James Bond movie. This is probably my (and a lot of people's) favorite 007 movie of all time. There's nothing wrong with this, and it has the best Bond character name ever - Pussy Galore. Daring even now, and especially for 1964!

Comments: This film took a lot of crap for not being as good as folks thought it should be. There's the usual discussion of why the Hulk even has pants on when he's bigger. But I saw it for what it was meant to be - a fun comic book movie. The attempts to make it look like a comic book with multi-panel pictures on screen was genius. I was surprised at how much I liked this movie. It's not the greatest thing I've ever seen, but I definitely enjoyed it.

Comments: One of my all time favorite 007 movies - because it tried to do something different. IT wasn't just "business as usual". I also really love Timothy Dalton, and it's a shame he only made two movies. This one is the better of his two - he goes off on a personal vendetta after someone after his 00 status was revoked. A wonderful movie.

Comments: A movie that surprised me. My wife t see what else a movie could hope to accomplish.

Comments: This film took a lot of crap about not being as good as the first Matrix movie, and to some extent that's true. The original Matrix can never be recreated, because the first one worked because it was "new". This is not new. It's big, loud, and wordy. But I still liked it, despite all it's flaws.

Comments: What can I say about this movie that isn't already known? I went to see this movie not knowing much about it. I was totally blown away. It was a visual tour de force, and the story behind it was much deeper than it's given credit for. A Sci-Fi masterpiece. If you haven't seen it, see it!

Comments: I own this - but got it for free as an Xmas present, and I have to say that it was nowhere near as good as the first one. It's not exactly horrible, but it's nowhere near as great as the first one.

Comments: This originally was a mini series on NBC, and I watched it because of Miranda Richardson. The movie captivated me - I was surprised at how much I liked the movie. Generally I dislike TV movies like this one, but it had top notch production values, and it had a style that I really loved. Could be described as a poor man's "Lord of the Rings".
